What should be done about ROTC? People vocal about the issue are generally common in their observation that a problem exists; and that something must be done. There is, however, division about the appropriate corrective action.

Samples of various published opinions are compiled here. They are classified according to the tenor of their recommendations. The two identified schools of thought on the issue are the Abolitionists, those who see no benefit to the program and seek its dissolution, and the Reformists, who simply want a restructuring of the program.
