The
Ateneo de Davao ROTC History (ADROTH) research project
is a voluntary undertaking of the Advanced
CMT Class of 1992 of the Ateneo de Davao ROTC
unit (AdDU-ROTCU). The project is maintained as a
service to the Philippine ROTC community, and our
alma mater, the Ateneo de Davao. It
is neither affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the Ateneo
de Davao University.
The
project maintains a group of Web sites which are focused
on:
- The
promotion of ROTC as a viable component of the National
Service Training Program. By reliving past triumphs;
analyzing the failures of yesteryears; and monitoring
present developments, we hope to help promote the
program as an applied management course, and highlight
its potential for both military and non-military
applications.
- Emphasizing
the importance of duty in a democracy
- The
search for the true causes of problems that plague
Philippine society
