The
following is an excerpt from the history of
the Philippine Air Force Citizen Military Aviation
Training Unit (http://www.paf.mil.ph/units/arc/authority.HTM)
The Citizen Military Aviation Training Unit
(CMTU) . . . was established on 01 May 41 pursuant
to General Order Nr 6, General Headquarters,
Armed Forces of the Philippines dated 16 May
49 and was named Reservist Officer Training
Corps (ROTC). The same order likewise established
the FEATI as the first ROTC unit. (of the Philippine
