PAF honors outstanding units and personnel during the 59th Air Force Day

Villamor Air Base, Pasay City - 05 July 2006 - “Revitalizing Core Competence for a Better Equipped, Skilled and Trained Air Force” is this year’s chosen theme when the Philippine Air Force celebrates its 59th foundation anniversary on July 5, 2006. The formal anniversary program will be held at the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing Fixed Hangar at 9:00 in the morning. Air Force Chief Lt Gen Jose L Reyes, will lead the austere anniversary celebration with the Secretary of National Defense, Hon. Avelino Cruz as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

This year’s Outstanding PAF ROTC Cadet and Cadette for 2006 are Cdt Maj Mark F Fabellon PAF from the Lipa City Public College and Cadette LTC Stephanie Joy O Pablo PAF of St Louis College, San Fernando La Union. Adjudged PAF Model Supervisor of the Year 2006 is Dr Joseph Rene C Hallare of the Air Force General Hospital, while Mr Joaquin M Estoya from 410thMW is this year’s PAF Model Employee.
