Earns Laang-Kawal Award for Excellent ROTC Instruction

Silliman
University's outstanding rating in ROTC instruction
for five succeeding years has earned for it the Laang-Kawal
Award from the Armed forces of the Philippines. At
the 23rd AFP National Reservist's Week Celebration
last September 21, the University was cited as the
Army ROTC Unit Educational Institution of the Year
in recognition of our ROTC unit's being the only one
nationwide that has maintained top ranking in ROTC
instruction during tactical inspection. We have placed
either first or second in five consecutive years.
