ROTC Unit champion for SY 2003-2004

THE
FINAL result of the just concluded Re gional Annual
Administrative and Performance Evaluation (RAAPE)
for School Year 2003-2004 was as successful activity
of the unit. Colonel Franklin C. Estrada infantry
(General Staff Course) Philippine Army, the Commanding
Officer of 11th Regional Community Defense Group,
Army Reserve Command who was the over all Chairman
of the Inspection and Evaluation Team with 14 members
evaluated all activated and affiliated ROTC units
in the entire region from 26 to 31 January 2004. The
University of Mindanao ROTC unit who was adjudged
as the best ROTC Unit in Metro Davao and Region XI
for School Year 2002-2003 was the recipient of the
perpetual trophy from higher headquarters.
The
final result for the just concluded evaluation for
School Year 2003-2004 ADDS another luster in the name
of the University and its ROTC unit for being adjudged
as the best ROTC unit in Metro Davao and Region XI
for obtaining the highest score of 944.64 percent
out of 1000 points allocated equivalent to 94.46 percent
the University of Mindanao with the able leadership
of the Commandant and his Training Staff led by Lieutenant
Colonel Lauro I. Rivera, Jr. (Cavalry) Philippine
Army and the Corps of Cadets have done their part
in the just concluded Regional Annual Administrative
and Tactical Inspection and Evaluation in order to
maintain the prestige, honor and integrity of the
University of Mindanao ROTC Unit.
By
these laudable achievements, the commanding officer
of 1106 Metro Davao Community Defense Center, expressed
his sincere thanks and appreciation to the school
authorities for their untiring support to the ROTC
Program and the CORPS of cadets of University of Mindanao
for the job well done... Congratulations!
