UPHR
gets AFP award

University
of Perpetual Help Rizal (UPHR) was adjudged as a Philippine
Air Force-ROTC Unit "Educational Institution
of the Year" by the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The
awarding ceremony was held during the 21st National
Reservist Week celebration last Sept. 16 at the General
Headquarters Grounds at Camp Aguinaldo.
UPHR
President Antonio Tamayo received the Plaque of Recognition
for the UPHR-ROTC Unit which was cited for their laudable
and outstanding support to the manpower development
of the Reserve Force.
The
UPHR-ROTC Unit is headed by Maj. Alberto Reyes, Philippine
Air Force Commandant; Cdt. Col. Romeo Olaguer, 1st
Class, Corps Commander for SY 2000-2001; and Pastor
Tamayo, ROTC Coordinator.
