Such has been the mission of the Ateneo's various model platoons.

Through a variety of complex, awe inspiring drills, rifle twirls and throws, these units sought to display, in dramatic fashion, the coordination, team work, and inherent discipline of the corps.

Tactical inspections, school fiestas, and the like have been traditional venues for performances of these special troops who, over the years, have gone by a variety of names: "crack platoon", "model platoon", and "honor guard".

This section is devoted to these units -- symbols of the discipline that the corps aspired to.
