Corps Commander

He was the first Ateneo cadet officer to hold the positions Corps Commander, and Student Council President. He graduated in 1958 as the class Valedictorian, and Loyalty Medal awardee. His was also the first cadet to hold the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel.

His son, Alberto, became Corps Commander in 1988 -- the first "passing of the torch" between father and son in the Ateneo de Davao.

Mr. Salcedo is a community leader in Kabacan, North Cotabato; where he has been the President of the Kabacan Market Vendor's Association from 1960 till the present day.
